Blindfold chess
Learn to keep the position in mind, one small step at a time. Learn the squares, follow short move sequences, then type your way through a game with the board hidden.
Your learning path
Start with square colors. When a step feels comfortable, move on. Reveal and reread whenever you need them; helped answers are counted separately.
Put it together
No clock. A hidden board. An opponent that leaves room to learn. Type a move, check the preview, and press Enter to play. Take back a move whenever you need to.
A gentle start: your opponent picks random legal moves.
How to practise
Try a short round, check your errors, then add a little more difficulty. You do not need a photographic picture: remembering the relationships between pieces is useful too. Move on to longer sequences when you can follow the shorter ones comfortably.
