The knight was worth a pawn

Black's knights sit on c5 and e5, and the one on c5 holds the whole position together. The only square a white pawn could attack it from is d4, and Black's own pawn stands there. White's bishop on g2 is the wrong colour to argue with either knight. White still has a knight on b1 and a bishop on c1, and Black's king is still on e8.
